CUPE Local 3905 Research Publication Awards
Each year, 15 Research Publication Awards, each valued at $500, are awarded to recognize and support members of CUPE Local 3905 who publish high-quality research in leading academic journals.
Application deadlines for the coming year are: August 1st, November 1st, and March 1st.

Research Publication Award Guidelines
The Local will award up to four Research Publication Awards each semester (Fall, Winter, and Summer) to eligible members whose research has been published or officially accepted for publication in a Q1-ranked academic journal.
To qualify for an award, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
* Be a CUPE Local 3905 member in good standing during the semester of publication or application.
* Be the first author of the published or accepted research paper.
* Have the paper published in, or formally accepted by, a Q1-ranked journal.
Applicants must submit:
* A completed Research Publication Award application form.
* A copy of the published paper or the journal’s official acceptance letter.
* Documentation confirming the journal’s Q1 ranking for the year of publication.
Applications are reviewed after each application deadline. If the number of eligible applications exceeds the number of available awards, recipients will be selected by lottery.
