On September 3rd, we had the pleasure of hosting an orientation for our new and returning CUPE members! We set up a welcoming desk outside to greet, inform, and assist our incoming members. It was a great opportunity to introduce them to our union, its values, and the benefits of being part of CUPE. Our team provided useful resources about the union, including member benefits, collective bargaining updates, and key contacts within CUPE. New members had a chance to meet with union representatives and ask questions about how we support them in the workplace. Our welcoming desk was also a space for members to express any concerns and learn how the union can advocate for them.
