Hoping all is well. We are having our General Annual Meeting on November 23rd at 5:00pm in LUSU Boardroom. The Conference room is located in the university centre upstairs from the bookstore past the multicultural centre, turning left to the boardroom at the end of the hall.

We will be discussing a number of initiatives that the local is undertaking this year including:
- Amending the By-Laws https://3905.cupe.ca/wp-content/uploads/sites/137/2021/05/CUPE_ByLaws_2011_Amended.pdf.
- Planning for the upcoming negotiations with Lakehead University on a new Collective Agreement https://3905.cupe.ca/collective-agreement/
- Report on the Trustees review of the locals’ operations and finances, and
- Special presentation from the March of Dines on supports for disabled persons.
We are also looking for people interested in be part of the local’s Bargaining Committee from January 2023 until a new Collective Agreement is ratified.
